Sturdy and strong design
Robustly designed for use in the most demanding operational conditions, the Dräger Bodyguard 1000 functions in a temperature range from -30°C to 60°C, no matter how extreme the environment.
Compatible with all SCBA
​With alligator clips or safety clamps, the Bodyguard 1000 can be quickly and securely attached to any SCBA, in any position, whether on the shoulder, waist or back plate.
New attention-grabbing audio and visual alarms
If there is no movement after 25 seconds and no cancellation from the user for the next 8 seconds, the alarm on the Bodyguard 1000 will sound fully and directional so that the user in danger can be found quickly
Incident history data logger
​Like the Bodyguard 7000, the Bodyguard 1000 also includes a full data logging function for downloading incident history using the Drägers RFID PC Link Module and our Windows-based Software Package.
Operation mode selection
This device comes with several operating mode options, either push-button operation or tally knob operation for entry control applications.
Temperature control during operation
The Dräger Bodyguard 1000 is equipped with a thermal alarm that sounds when the ambient temperature rises rapidly or exceeds safe working levels, making the environment unsafe for the user.
